The initiatives of Ripples Action (漣漪行動) was jointly conceived by the Founding President of AWAHK and the president of the HK Federation of Women Lawyers in 2008. Other partners have joined since – they are the HK Women Doctors Association, International Social Service (Hong Kong Branch), Narcotics Division of the Government of the HKSAR and the HK Federation of Women. Over the years, Ripples Action has served women from low income families, or who are new arrivals or ethnic minority groups in HK.
This time the event will be held in Wanchai. Participants will be able to learn more about the management of their finances from us. At the same time, women doctors and nurses will provide free medical tests and women lawyers will offer free legal advice.
By working together as a team, we can use our expertise to help those with different needs. Let’s work together to make HK a better and happier place!
