Visit to ICAC cum Seminar on “Guardian Role of Professionals in Upholding Ethical Governance”
The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is charged with the responsibility for fighting corruption through effective law enforcement, education and prevention to help keep Hong Kong fair, just, stable and prosperous. In order to get a better understanding of Hong Kong’s latest development in the anti-corruption efforts, AWAHK has organized a visit to the ICAC Headquarters. With reference to the ICAC’s experience on investigation and corruption prevention work, the officer of the ICAC will introduce the relevant ordinance and analyse common corruption risks and ethical issues encountered by company directors, senior management and accounting professionals in their daily work. Participants also got a chance to visit the ICAC Exhibition Gallery.
