Jane Hui Leader of China Tax Center and Partner, International and Transaction Tax Services, EY Jane has been a practicing China tax advisory for over 25 years, she has become a full time international and transaction tax partner since 2005, not long after her return from a secondment in Beijing. She has extensive experience in China tax advisory work. As an international and transaction tax partner, she is involved in tax due diligence and structuring transactions for clients on their inbound and outbound investments; as well as pre and post transaction tax advisories. Jane is also the technical leader of EY’s China tax practice, working on technical matters, including providing comments on draft rules, and various thought leadership items.
Jennifer Kam Associate Partner, Tax – Global Compliance & Reporting Services, EY Jennifer has more than 20 years of Hong Kong tax experience focusing on corporate tax compliance and advisory matters. Her scope of expertise includes corporate restructuring, financial structuring, inbound and outbound investments, operation review to achieve tax optimization, cross border tax planning, application of the Hong Kong tax treaties, etc. Jennifer has been in charge of various special projects such as repatriation of funds, advance ruling for preferential tax rate, application for tax exemption for a Hong Kong charitable institution, etc. More recently, she worked with legal counsels on a Board of Review case.
Candy Cheung Senior Manager, International and Transaction Tax Services, EY Candy has more than 10 years of China and international tax consulting and advisory experience. She assisted multinational companies on various tax planning and advisory projects. Candy has extensive experience in handling tax due diligence and tax advisory on a wide variety of transactions covering buy-side and sell-side and across a wide range of sectors including real estate, manufacturing, and retail.
