Congratulations to the New HKGCC Chairman!

Dear Members,

We are delighted to share the news that at the HKGCC's Annual General Meeting held on 10 May 2024, former AWAHK Council Member, Agnes Chan, Senior Advisor of the Chairman's Office in Greater China at Ernst & Young, and former Managing Partner of EY Hong Kong & Macao, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC). She will succeed Betty Yuen, also a member of AWAHK, who retired from the position after serving for two consecutive one-year terms.

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to both of them on their achievements.

Agnes has been supporting AWAHK many years and she was also a speaker in AWAHK's Women's Day Event - Dare to Dream, #Unleashing Your Potentials held on 26 March 2024.

Agnes Chan's appointment as the Chairman of HKGCC is a testament to her exceptional leadership skills and expertise, and we wish her all the best in her new role. She strongly encourages our fellow women accountants to have confidence in their abilities and actively engage in the economic development of Hong Kong, making meaningful contributions to our community.
