Under the new arrangement of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“the Exchange”) to remain open for trading during severe weather conditions (“SWT days”) with effect from 23 September 2024, listing applicants/listed issuers will be able to apply to the Exchange for authorization of registration of a prospectus and its accompanying documents (collectively “Prospectus Documents”) electronically on SWT days.
In this connection, as from 23 September 2024, the Prospectus Documents which are authorized for registration by the Exchange and to be delivered in electronic form to the Registrar of Companies for registration under the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance (Chapter 32) may be delivered to the Companies Registry for registration on SWT days.
