The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants has issued various new and revised financial reporting standards. In this seminar, our speaker Ernest Lee will share these developments in financial reporting requirements in Hong Kong and other key areas of focus in financial reporting, to help you to prepare for the 2024 reporting busy season, whether you are a preparer, auditor or user of financial statements.

Speaker: Mr Ernest Lee, Technical Partner at Deloitte China
Ernest Lee is a Technical Partner at Deloitte China with over 30 years of experience in accounting, audit and governance. He provides technical support for major audit engagements across Hong Kong and Mainland China and is a fellow member of ACCA and ICAEW.
Ernest has played a key role in setting financial reporting standards, having chaired the Financial Reporting Standards Committee at HKICPA from 2019 to 2021. He currently serves as Convenor of the Financial Reporting Review Panel at the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council.
In corporate governance, he is a member of the Listing Committee of HKEX and the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform. He also advises the Executive Master of Accounting programme at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK.
