To facilitate your account registration under the Business Tax Portal (BTP) and Tax Representative Portal (TRP), one-stop e-services portals provided for businesses and service agents by the IRD, you may refer to the following tips for opening a BTP user account:
• A BTP user account is for business use and is distinct from an Individual Tax Portal (ITP) account for handling individual tax affairs.
• The usernames of your BTP and ITP accounts must be different.
• To appoint you as a BTP administrator or authorized user, your serving business must have your BTP username on hand.
• As the BTP username cannot be changed once registered, you should select your username carefully.
• You can use your BTP user account to log in the TRP. Separate registration is not required.
