Andy is a Partner of EY’s Indirect Tax Practice. Andy joined the tax profession in 2003 with focus in China tax, and has advised clients in banking, factoring, logistics, manufacturing, retail, real estate and modern services industries.

In indirect tax related areas, Andy has helped clients successfully secured VAT refund and secured tax authorities’ agreement on various tax treatment controversy cases in different cities in different jurisdictions, implemented tax preferential treatment for business operations and structures, and has acted as tax advisor for REITs.

Andy has also assisted clients in successfully mitigating US tariff impact by designing and implementing operational structures without the need of relocating business operations.

Ms. Cheung has over 13 years of experience in China tax advisory at EY, specializing in tax matters related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate restructuring. She has extensive experience in tax due diligence, transaction structuring, restructuring tax planning, and reviewing transaction documents for inbound investments into Mainland China. In addition, she advises PRC enterprises on outbound M&A activities. Over the years, Ms. Cheung also has extensive experience across various aspects of China tax advisory.
