Accounting and Financial Reporting Council Registration effective from 1 October 2022

As from 1 October 2022, the Financial Reporting Council (which will be renamed as the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (“AFRC”)) will assume the responsibilities for the following new registration and renewal functions:

Registration of PIE auditors Issuance of practising certificates to certified public accountants Registration of firm names and firms Registration of corporate practices

These documents facilitate potential applicants in preparing for the applications under the new regime.

The AFRC will accept application / notification forms from 1 October 2022 onwards. Applicants should use the forms to be published on the new AFRC website that will be available on 1 October 2022. Any forms submitted to the FRC before 1 October 2022 will be returned to the applicant.
