A Message from AWAHK's 2026-27 President - Lily Kwok

Dear AWAHK Members and Friends,

It is with great honour that I assume the role of President of the Association of Women Accountants (Hong Kong) Limited for the 2026-2027 term, following our Annual General Meeting held on 29 September 2026.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Jasmine Lee, our outgoing President, for her leadership and dedication, and to all members for your continued trust and support.

AWAHK has long been a platform for women and men in accountancy to connect, grow, and contribute. As we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year, we are reminded of how far we have come and the strong foundation built by our Past Presidents, inparticular our Founding President, Ms. Elizabeth Law.

I am also pleased to announce that Dr Hon Webster Ng Kam Wah, JP has kindly accepted our invitation to serve as Honorary Adviser of AWAHK, joining our other Honorary Advisers in supporting the association. We look forward to his valuable contributions in the years ahead.

At the same time, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our Honorary Advisers for their unwavering support and invaluable counsel. We are truly fortunate to have you as part of our community.

Looking ahead, my priorities for the coming term are:

Professional Development — We will continue to offer relevant training and seminars that equip our members for a rapidly evolving profession.

Mentorship and Networking — Strengthening connections between seasoned practitioners and emerging talents remains at the heart of our community.

Greater Bay Area Engagement — We will build on our existing exchanges with mainland counterparts and explore new opportunities for collaboration across the region.

Community and Social Responsibility — We will uphold our commitment to giving back, through initiatives that reflect the values of our profession and our members.

This association belongs to all of us. I warmly welcome your ideas, your energy, and your participation as we write the next chapter together.
