On 1 May 2016, the final stage of transformation of Business Tax (“BT”) to Value Added Tax (“VAT”) has been rolled out to all service industries (inclusive of construction, real estate, financial services and lifestyle services) nationwide in China.

Caesar is a professional accountant, certified tax advisor. He was with Andersen, PwC, E&Y and Deloitte for 24 years before joining RSM Hong Kong. Caesar was seconded to Shanghai back in 1994 and was relocated to Guangzhou to witness the development of the member zones of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

Caesar has solid experience in delivering practical solutions to China and cross-border tax and business projects. He is also specialized in China investment services, government services, and tax controversy solution services.

Caesar supports policy studies and drafting, and is a popular speaker at government policy consultation meetings, important conferences, and trainings for officials. His professional appointments includes:
